Abstract

Inherent to the land issue are the territorial and political daily life. Given that the concept of sustainable development is inseparable from the agrarian issue, the aim is to analyze how the Popular Agrarian Reform Plan (RAP) relates to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and corroborates the governance of the agrarian issue in Brazil. From the perspective of the recursive process of discursive textual analysis, the focus is on the relevance of the governance of agrarian reform with the locus of the 2030 agenda of the SDGs, in view of the agrarian plan prepared by the landless workers' movement (MST). As results and reflections, we can see the perspectives of RAP aligned with the SDGs, contributing to the construction of a State policy in the 2030 agenda. Above all, by providing political and institutional cooperation for planning the 2030 agenda in the link to socio-territorial experiences as means and ends to consolidate a new model of land management, distribution and access to land, and implementation of productive practices and techniques in favor of food sovereignty.
