Abstract

In this article, we seek to reflect on the teaching of language and literature in contemporaneity and, therefore, we'll analyze the website Skoob,, that works as a social network of readers. We'll propose a dialogue between the concepts of digital literacy and literary literacy. The methodology that permeated this study is given by a bibliographic research with a qualitative approach. The main contribution of the study is to reflect over the possibilities of using the social network Skoob in language and literature classes, once the school, as a citizen's forming place, needs to incorporate practices related to digital literacy, and Skoob can be a supporting tool to develop, as well, literary literacy.
