Abstract

This article aims to contribute to the theoretical deepening of the socio-territorial movement analysis category and to the elaboration of an agroecology approach based on this debate, based on the experiences of production and commercialization of agroecological foods developed by the Landless Rural Workers Movement. (MST), in the state of São Paulo. Its elaboration was based on a bibliographical review, monitoring of the MST's social networks and fieldwork, with visits to settlement areas and commercial sites and open, non-directive interviews with MST leaders and urban leaders who contribute to the articulation and operationalization initiatives for short circuits for the commercialization of agroecological foods produced in camp and settlement areas. Our research results demonstrate that the materialization of agroecology occurs in conflict with the society project dictated by the logic of capital, only being possible with the deterritorialization of agribusiness and, they indicate the experiences of agroecological production and commercialization as potential agglutinators of agendas and methodologies of working class struggles in the countryside and in the city, contributing to dialogue with society about the importance of carrying out an effective agrarian reform program.
