Current education of revolutionary ideals for university students in the context of international integration in Vietnam

Résumé

The current process of international economic integration has strongly impacted students’ perceptions, thoughts and feelings and is reflected in all their life behaviors, affecting their revolutionary ideals in positive and negative ways. To promote the positive effects brought about by international integration and limit the negative ones, education of revolutionary ideals has become an urgent need to strengthen moral and lifestyle education, and promote revolutionary ideals to students. This article is the result of a study conducted based on a survey with 667 students at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education from June to August 2021. The results fully reflect the reality of the revolutionary ideals of education for students at this university. Based on this, the authors propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of the revolutionary ideals of education for students of the University in the current context of international integration.
