About the Journal
The journal Geografia em Atos (Online) is a publication of the Geography Department of the Faculty of Science and Technology, UNESP in Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Brazil, registered with IBICT (Brazilian Institute of Information on Science and Technology) and rated A4 in the 2017-2020 Quadrennium by Qualis/CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel). Since 1999 it has been publishing and disseminating articles from different theoretical perspectives in national and international geography.
The main objective of this journal is to engage in dialogue with the Brazilian geographical community and organized society, stimulating research and ensuring the dissemination of its results. We are committed to contributing to the theoretical debate, to strengthening the exchange of ideas and to building lines of dialogue with sectors not yet in tune with Brazilian Geography.
The GeoAtos journal has published scientific work developed in the undergraduate academic sphere, at its home institution and at other national and international academic institutions, receiving contributions on a continuous basis from undergraduates, professionals, researchers and professors.
